It Takes A Lot of BEER To Make Good WINE! At least that is what one hears in the inner circles of the Monterey Wine industry from time to time. To complement the addition of our new great food menu, we felt the need to also expand our beverage options and include the Hoppy variety.
With a name like A Taste of Monterey-Wine Market and Bistro, one would not expect to find Budweiser, Coors or Corona. We are sticking to our mission of promoting county quality, like wine, we will be showcasing and supporting local businesses. Our inaugural beer producer is Marina's very own English Ales and more local breweries to follow.
Peter Blackwell started English Ales back in 2000 and for 13 years they have been producing some extraordinary craft beers with an English flair. A couple local favorites will be on tap starting today with more to be rotated in as things progress.
Goat Nachos, Pig Wizard Flatbread, Tikki Masala Chicken Rolls and Bravo Farms Cheddar Cheese plate are just some of the tasty menu items that will cozy up nicely with these locally produced craft beers.
We still have over 22 Monterey County wines offered by the glass, but now we have something for everyone. Come in, bring your friends, and enjoy the view and soak in all that is great about Monterey County.
