A Taste of Monterey keeping its doors open later for a concert performance by New Orleans artist Robin Kinchen (a first for Monterey). This night, the popular Wine Center will be transformed into an intimate concert venue complete with an unparalleled ocean view backdrop, great people, live music and of course, exceptional wine.
About Robin Kinchen
Robin Kinchen began turning heads in 2007, when she launched a 53-city U.S. tour at the New Orleans House of Blues and then hit the road for a 4-month stretch of performances. She delivered intimate, fiery performances to packed, moody clubs and trendy hotspots from coast-to-coast, silencing even the socialite venue crowds of San Francisco, Chicago and NYC. Upon returning to New Orleans, this Berklee College of Music graduate submerged herself in the musical roots of New Orleans' jazz and blues and became a staple at the famous Carousel Bar, Tipitina's, The House of Blues and various stages across the state.
Robin and her fiance' are currently stationed in Monterey and are honored to bring the music of New Orleans to A Taste of Monterey in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please join us for a romantic evening of music featuring the music of Gershwin, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday and more...
